TUSKEGEE AIRMEN COMMEMORATION DAY

Thursday  March 28, 2024

Celebrating the Tuskegee Airmen

2023 marks the 50th anniversary of The East Coast Chapter Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated (ECCTAI), the oldest and largest chapter of the renowned Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.  Annually we recognize the fourth Thursday of March with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the U.S. Air Force Memorial.

The Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day committee will share engagement updates and details on our upcoming 2024 Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day (TACD) events very soon.

Some of our developments...we have been working with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester to lead the request for a national proclamation to be signed by President Biden and we are almost there! Additionally, on past March 23rd Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton will be presenting a resolution on the floor of the U.S. Congress. The resolution designates March 23, 2023, as “Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day.”  This resolution recognizes and celebrates the Tuskegee Airmen for their heroism, valor and exemplary service to our nation.

As a token of appreciation, we offer complimentary access to view our 2023 programming:
